This amazing organisation based near Tenterden in Kent raises funds and awareness for local heart screening events for young people between the ages of 14 & 35yrs. In July 2016 15 year old Ben Hammond died from an undiagnosed heart condition. On average twelve young people a week die from undiagnosed heart conditions. Many of these conditions can often be picked up by heart screening, but this service is not offered on the NHS. Working closely with the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) they have set up a memorial account where all funds raised go towards funding screening days which are carried out by CRY. A screening day costs £5000 and 100 young people can be screened in this time. Your help makes a huge difference.
