Feedback....
Pros:- Very enjoyable. Good organisation, amazing atmosphere and support around the whole course. Free tea, coffee and biscuits at the end.
Cons:- Things to improve, bag drop area was very crowded, one way system to enter and exit the marquee may help. Water station at top of Queensway would have been better than one just after the Harrow Pub. The cost to enter is quite high. Other half marathons include medal, free T shirt plus chocolate bars or similar at the end for the same entry fee.

This was my 9th time, more of us from the running club participated as we remembered a dear running friend who passed away last year, this was his favorite race. We wore bibs on our backs in his memory.

Definitely will do it again

The paper cups in the road were a trip hazard in several places on the course. On the whole, the roads had plenty of space but sometimes it was necessary to overtake a bit closer than I would normally due to a few stretches having some potentially nasty cambers.

Had a fantastic day. Well organised and the atmosphere was great. Route was well marked. Hills were definitely challenging but made that finish all the more rewarding.

The tent at the start would have benefited from a one way system and some better signage on the outside to help manage the flow of people.

My first Hasting Half and I couldn't ask for more!

GOOD: This is a great event with great atmosphere. Don't be put off by the hills; they are not that bad! BAD: I found some of the marshalls at the start didn’t know where the toilets were and the grass around the marquee was littered with dog fouling - I saw several runners kneel in it. I’d still recommend the event.

Really enjoyable but challenging run. Well marshalled with lots of friendly support most of the way round too.

A little congested at the start - may be preferable to stagger with expected finish times in order!

I’ve done HHM a few times now.
Still my favorite race, a great challenge and well supported by the locals.
Really well organized too.

I wanted to follow the 2 1/2 hour pacesetter but couldn't see them anywhere at the start.

This was my first half marathon, and I absolutely loved it.

Cannot wait for next years!

Please could it start at an earlier time such as 9:00 am.

Change pacers flags to hours and minutes eg 2.20 rather than 140, very confusing, otherwise excellent
