A bewitching Half Marathon & 10k in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside to capture your racing heart... it's how racing was meant to be.
This is a Nice Work race
This means that this is an original Nice Work race, fully hosted and organised by us.
Event Overview:
You told us that you wanted more and we listened! With the roaring success of the already established Tissington Trail Half Marathon in September, this race enjoyed it's inaugural January unveiling last year... and, sold out months in advance! To accommodate demand, we will continue to hold this race across two dates in one weekend. We're proud that the race regularly features in the Runner's World top 10 UK trail races and can't wait to share it with you!
Course Overview:
The race format will differ slightly from our September offering and consist of an out and back route from Ashbourne along the traffic-free Tissington trail. The route gently climbs through the glorious Peak District before turning around for a downhill finish - so fast times are likely!
Route Map:
You can view the route maps below. You'll be able to download the route in different formats including GPX.

A note on headphones:
Due to new UKA rules that came into force on 01 April 2024, in the ear and over the ear headphones are no longer permitted at running events unless otherwise stated. Bone conducting headphones are permitted however, if you do choose to wear bone conducting headphones, then we ask that you have the volume turned down low enough to hear the marshal instructions.
