Overview
Let's start the New Year as we mean to go on by getting active at your own pace and in your own time. This is a race for everyone and no matter if you're just starting out or are an experienced runner looking for a New Year's dash, all are welcome! You can record your time via an app or stopwatch, submit your evidence and we'll create a leaderboard for some friendly competition. We'll post out your medal once the challenge is complete.

Challenge Duration
Complete your preferred distance between Wednesday 01 January and submit your results be 23:59 on Friday 31 January to be eligible for awards & a place on our leaderboard.

Absolutely anyone! Whether you're an experienced marathoner or someone new to running, this challenge is perfect for all fitness levels.

Prizes
Complete your chosen distance and we'll deliver a bespoke New Year Virtual medal straight to your door. Full race instructions and tips for getting started will be sent to you upon booking.

How do I take part & receive instructions?
The New Year Virtual 10k & 5k is for everyone, no matter your age or ability. 
Choose to run or walk your distance, indoors or outdoors, via an app, stopwatch or treadmill. Once you enter, you'll receive emailed confirmation of your entry together with instructions on how to take part and how to submit evidence of your completed challenge. Make sure that we're added to your safe senders list so that our emails don't get snapped up by spam filters!

We'll guide you every step of the way. It's simple and flexible so that you can focus on having fun and seeing in the New Year, your way.
