Enjoyed it thanks. Only thought would be to separate 10k and HM starts. Or have thinner start funnel so less crowded after crossing start line. Or have start north of toilets so people walking to start naturally join towards back of starters. It was a bit chaotic for first few hundred yards, Otherwise all great.

Love this event, great atmosphere and superb trail for running, first half steady uphill then downhill all the way back. Great bit of history running through the train tunnels and past old stations. Possibly the best half marathon of the year!

Well managed and friendly atmosphere.
Brilliant support to people needing to drop down from the half to the 10k. My only other comment is when you are near the back at the beginning the sound system isn't the best for the race briefing. I love nice work events

I was first male vet 60... you used to get a little memento and I notice in your race instructions you give out an e-voucher(?). However the lady behind the desk says there were no age category prizes which is a shame. It's good to recognise the different age category runners male and female.

A really nice little race in the dales. Loved the format of it being uphill on the way out and downhill on the way back as it lends itself to good finishes. Jaffa cakes and jelly babies at the finish much appreciated.

The only slight suggestion would be to start the 10k and the HM runners at separate times, as the beginning was a bit tight. However, this does not detract from what was a great race and one I'll definitely do again!
