Well organised. Empty roads plenty of volunteers and enthusiasm.
I would prefer more volunteers on the uphill encouraging us and also bins near volunteers to throw our gels in.
Brilliant race with great orgainsation and highly encouraging support from marshalls and race officials
This race gets better every year. The organisers listen to feedback and continually look to innovate. This year a quiet zone and on course toilets were introduced but behind all that is the same meticulous organisation underpinned by faboluosly supportive volunteers - oh and a scenic but challenigng course! The Race Director and Club should take a bow for putting on a great event year after year.
Brilliant race
Challenging but enjoyable
Challenging HM but a very rewarding run around the Kent countryside. Really well organised with a huge number of brilliant marshalls along the way.
A single loop run which was also a bonus. I really enjoyed this one and would definitely recommend it. I can’t state enough how well organised the event was. There were even oranges slices that had been cut up for runners at the end which was so very welcome!
Great event and organisation
I always come back to TW half as it is a brilliant event. Love the route and so well organised. Pre race comms was excellent.
This year there was around half a mile from mile 11 where a TW Harrier in front of me had a spectator and a cyclist join her on the course taking up the whole road. Zero awareness of the runners around them and potentially hazardous with the cyclist swerving between runners. Didn’t take away from the organisation but disappointed to see as it is a TW Harriers race.
Thank you for your review and we are delighted that you enjoyed a spectacular race day. We will pass your feedback onto the RD at Tunbridge Wells Harriers. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
Brilliant race
Amazing more, fantastic marshalls, great organisation. What a challenge! Loved it!
Friendly, hilly, scenic, well supported and fantastically organised - what’s not to like?
Great organisation - many thanks. The people pointing out the vacant outside loos did a great job to keep the queues moving. Only thing I’d add is the availability of hot tea outside at the end.
Great event and very well organised
This was my first time running this event and I was very impressed with the organisation.
Fantastic, Challenging and Scenic Event.
Live bands, loads of supporters, a very hilly route but super enjoyable, well organised and plenty of drinks stops. Being a slower runner, the last two km's were a little tricky as roads had re-opened and the pavements were busy despite being well within the 3 hour cut-off.. Overall though, Fantasic !
well supported by the local community
Best half marathon I have run
Loved everything about this half marathon, including all the lovely marshals, outstanding organisation & not forgetting a lovely challenging course.
Will definitely return next year!
Pacers were superb
The 2.30 pacers were excellent and spot on
Well organised event with a cracking atmosphere
Fantastic event, very well managed.
Challenging, but well worth it in the end.
Brilliant!
Hits a sweet spot between "nice run by local club" and "big organised event"
Three runs, three half marathon PBs. - Can't be bad!
Superb event with great atmosphere and amazing route
Tough hills make this a unique challenging half.
The quiet zone was perfect and very quiet
The quiet zone allowed me to relax before the race without the thousands of other runners and all the noise.
A perfectly placed room and therapy dog.
As a slow runner I was caught up in the high street pedestrians
