Event Overview:
The Haywards Heath Bike Ride was founded in 2010 with the aim of celebrating the local area whilst raising funds for local charities. This year, entry fees and sponsorship will be helping to support The KSS Air Ambulance and Time4Children. There are four different routes, offering options for riders of all abilities and ambitions. The event celebrates the Haywards Heath community, offers a warm welcome to all and enjoys friendly, family vibes. It also benefits from some wonderful local support from community groups and spectators who come out to cheer our bike riders to the finish!
A truly fun family day for everyone!

Our Charities...
This year, the Greater Haywards Heath Bike Ride will be supporting The KSS Air Ambulance & Time4Children.
The KSS Air Ambulance... The Air Ambulance Charity for Kent, Surrey & Sussex are a world-leading charity at the forefront of Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS). They bring the emergency room to the scene and deliver life-saving, critical care.  If the worst happens, and you feel like your world is coming to an end, they’ll be there. Last year alone they responded to over 3,200 incidents. They are fearless and tireless in fighting to save every life. When the call comes, they can reach any part of Kent, Surrey or Sussex in under 30 minutes. To them, care is critical.
Time4Children... Time 4 Children is a charity which aims to increase the emotional well-being, self-confidence and self-esteem of emotionally vulnerable children of primary school age in Mid Sussex and surrounding areas. With your help, they do this by providing weekly sessions where children can explore their worries, fears, anxieties or experiences with trained Volunteer Practitioners. 

Other important details...
- Your safety is paramount so, don’t forget... no helmet, no ride!
- Our wonderful marshals will be stood down at 2.30pm so make sure you are back with us to celebrate by then!
- Riders under the age of 18 will need their parents/guardians to sign a Parental Consent Form.
- Registration will open at 7.30 am on the Broadway, Haywards Heath RH16 3AS, but...
- You can prebook entries for your preferred distance via the 'Enter Now' link below.
- Official start time 8.30 am
- Last registrations by 9.30 am

Available Rides & Courses:
Once again, we shall have four routes for participants of all standards. As in previous years, all riders will be “chipped”, so everyone will know just how well they did. There will be Feed Stations for the longer routes and there will be Portaloos where other facilities are not available. 

SWEEPING VALLEYS (Black Route)
Distance: 119Km
A Sportif style route for serious cyclists!

Distance: 78Km
A testing route for experienced cyclists who want to be home for lunch or for less experience cyclists looking for a challenge.
