Overview
This accurately-measured course starts at The Leas, passes through the coastal park before and an out and back to Hythe. The event has fantastic support from local community groups and has a friendly race day vibe. If you are new to the half marathon distance, this is the perfect race to start your longer distance running journey.


CHARITY Race Entry
If you select to register for the race on a CHARITY ticket, then your entry will include a £5 donation to our charity of the year, The Sports Trust> 
The Sports Trust is a not-for-profit charity that dismantles barriers to sports participation. They recognise sport as a powerful tool for social improvement and drive it to its full potential.

Running for a Cause 
The race is a fundraising event organised by the Folkestone Rotarty Club. All proceeds and individual fundraising will be donated to local charities.

        Directions

        Race HQ: The Grand, The Leas, Folkestone, Kent, CT20 2XL

        By Car:
        The Race Headquarters will be within the Grand Hotel and will be clearly signposted. The start/finish area will be on The Leas immediately outside the HQ and signs will be clearly posted to direct you. We would encourage runners to park at the Leas Cliff Hall car park approximataley half a mile from the HQ.  Limited parking is available around the Hotel. 

        By Train:
        The closest railway station is Folkestone West but trains are very limited on Sundays.
