Well organised and fun event
Lovely atmosphere at the start/finish, well organised, supportive marshals and volunteers, nice route. Will definitely be back for another.
Great event, for great cause.
I loved the event. Well organised but felt very friendly. It was a hard course but that didn't matter x
Very well marshalled
Great event. Well marshalled and lovely atmosphere. Very well done to everyone involved in organising this event. I would highly recommend this to future participants.
Several of us clocked this on our devices of just short of 10K. Might be worth considering offering the option to pre-order a running vest or t-shirt on registration for an additional charge and added profit to charity. I felt that 400 runners was a very conservative limit and there were lots of ParkRunners and pacers that would liked to have run too. Overall, great event. Thank you and congratulations. It was on my birthday which made it a very special morning.
Event for all
Great race!!
I’m 62 and running this race was a great motivator to keep up my running. I’m really glad I did it and I’m looking forward to running again next year
Great local event for an amazing local charity’s A+++++++
Very enthusiastic crowd
Looking forward to next year
Just be more prepared for first runners who are always quicker than you think as first 6 ended up missing the loop as Marshall’s were not ready in time and there only ran 4.5 miles and did not complete race☹️
Fun meeting and running with nice people.
You can use the poem I sent earlier, it was written in the afterglow of the day, no editing.
Absolutely brilliant 100%really enjoyed
Definitely best event I've took part in this yr
A good day out and a good course.
I think marshaling could be a bit more clearer. When heading back round to finish, I got caught up with runners coming on both sides of the paths. But otherwise a fun day out.
Nice local run. Quite hilly but enjoyable.
Route seemed to come up a bit short on most people’s gps which was a bit frustrating. Could maybe do with closing roads properly to ensure runners don’t interfere with public footpaths. Hopefully this event will grow each year.
